Job Title: Lab Automation Engineer Location: San Diego CA (Day one Onsite) Duration: Long Term Requirements Must: Worked in DeviceLabs, not limited to testing devices Experience in DataCenters and worked on the setup of these High understanding of network connectivity, lab management activities, etc. Strong Linux with basic command line utilities Scripting in either /Python Debugging skills using Adb/Android Must have experience with Rack & Stack Need to get into ladder of 10 ft as required Responsibilities: 8+ years of work experienced Manage iOS/Android devices and mobiles by setting up new machines and diagnosing issues at the system level with existing machines. Manage a fleet of Android devices using ssh, ansible and other command-line tools. Support to automate the setup, maintenance and creation of these of the Android/Linux machines/phones. Experience with cli tools on Linux mac cli and managing large fleet without commercial software Directly responsible for smooth operation of clients Silicon's shared pool of devices Able to write/modify scripts for lab tasks Create run books for lab tasks Maintain and keep lab inventory Connect/disconnect devices, hubs, hosts, power strips Assessing power/temperature consumption Install various s/w packages as well as OS on hosts/devices to keep up-to-date Debug hardware and software issues and escalate to relevant teams Knowledge of mobile devices, networking and cloud technologies, previous experience of managing a fleet of Android/iOS mobile devices Device at-scale Devops, ansible, puppet experience is good to have Keywords: access management California https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=853005 |
