You will join our team in partnership with New York State of Health (NYSoH) to provide comprehensive health coverage to more than 7.2 million New Yorkers through its Health Benefit Exchange (HBE) HOW YOULL MAKE AN IMPACT: Youll join our talented Development Team. Our project is built on a multi-tier architecture including Service Oriented architecture, multi-tier web applications using Java and various other COTS products. Build and maintain highly complex, high-volume, large scale, scalable, maintainable and extensible software on a Java/J2EE application stack using full software development life-cycle (SDLC) methodology from concept, design, and documentation to testing, ensuring specification compliancy and adhering to coding standard Analyzes user/business needs and functionality to plan and assign with the design of software systems to meet those needs WHAT YOULL NEED TO SUCCEED: Education : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related technical field, OR equivalent combination of education and experience Required Experience : 2+ years software development Preferred Experience: Healthcare, Medicaid or Health Exchange Required Technical Skills: 2+ years Core Java/J2EE, Spring Framework, ORM Tools, Web Services, Build & Testing Tools, Relational Database, and SQL Preferred Technical Skills: DB2, MuleSoft Soft Skills : Good analytical and multitasking skills.
