Position:Mobile and Web Architect Location: Remote Duration: 6+Months Mode of Interview: Phone and Video Job Description: The Mobile and Web Architect will partner with development, product management, architecture, information security and infrastructure teams to deliver software and technology products that meet requirements and produce desired business outcomes. The Mobile and Web Solutions Lead Architect owns and communicates the architectural vision of the product or solution with which the professionals are involved with mobile systems, web applications, development platforms, integration methodologies, and broad, detailed knowledge of mobile and web technologies and industry trends. Develop reusable standards, design patterns, guidelines, and configurations to evolve the technical infrastructure related to mobile and web development. Adhere to established architectural principles and associated processes for adopting new technology or integrating with a new third-party solution. Advise product management on technology specific aspects of product roadmap development and recommend adoption of emerging technology appropriate to stated goals. Demonstrate the companys core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety. Minimum Position Qualifications Develop the software & deployment architecture of application solutions across teams within a single domain Partner with engineering staff to deliver solutions Partner with 3rd party vendors to integrate capabilities as required by the solution under development Lead architectural design reviews as required Draft, review and maintain architectural diagrams, interface specifications and other architectural artifacts as required by the delivery teams to clearly communicate the needs of the solution under development Interact with/present to engineering and product management with the presence to influence and drive the decision makers to a solution Identify technology overlaps and gaps Assess emerging technologies and make appropriate recommendations based on business needs Mentor engineering team members in software development and architectural principles, patterns, processes, and practices Promote the capture and reuse of intellectual capital, including code objects and components Contribute to Solutions Architecture Community of Practice 10+ years of experience in software development with emphasis on utilizing design patterns and architectural principles to ensure the timely delivery of quality solutions 5+ years of experience taking a lead role in the successful delivery of complex software and automation systems 3+ years of experience with Kotlin, Kotlin flow, Kotlin Coroutines 3+ years of experience with design patterns, coding conventions, creation of libraries, modularization 3+ years of experience with planning, designing and developing libraries using Kotlin 3+ years of experience with Observer patterns, conducting software analysis, investigating and suggesting technologies 3+ years of experience optimizing libraries and systems Any experience integrating open-source technologies in high volume production environments and strong knowledge of agile methodology Proven knowledge of service-oriented architecture/Cloud Demonstrated capability to build, mentor and maintain an inclusive team-based environment Proven delivery of innovative results in previous roles and strong knowledge of industry trends and industry competition Demonstrated written, oral, and presentation/public speaking communication skills; demonstrated interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate/work effectively with diverse groups of people Key Responsibilities The Mobile and Web Solutions Lead Architect owns and communicates the architectural vision of the product or solution with which the professionals are involved with mobile systems, web applications, development platforms, integration methodologies, and broad, detailed knowledge of mobile and web technologies and industry trends.
