This individual will need to have strong functional knowledge and background in Esri Geospatial Platform. They will work to drive the strategy and develop standards for a scalable Enterprise GIS Platform to enable end-to-end geospatial workflows and content distribution across multiple business units. This position develops and maintains high-level designs for overall logical and technical IT architecture. Responsibilities: Works with business partners to analyze strategy, spatial requirements, and trends to define the requirements, principles, and models that guide technology decisions Communicates and enforces technology standards with business partners Drives digital innovation and develops roadmaps through new technologies and approaches to fulfill strategic business plans Defines high-level migration plans to address gaps in current state Coaches, mentors, and leads technical subject matters experts to enable and drive consistency across technology architectures Designs and owns governance, assurance, and standards activities for enterprise technology architecture compliance Oversees and facilitates the evaluation, risk assessment, selection, and design of hardware and software technology and product standards Delivers technology architecture artifacts, possibly including reference architectures or concepts of operation Installs, administers, configures, troubleshoots and optimizes Enterprise GIS Solutions Oversees the translation of design into deliverables via implementation and deployment Qualifications: 5+ years of experience as a GIS Developer with a strong understanding of GIS best practices and functionality 2+ years of experience with Esri Platform cloud deployments Hands-on implementation experience in AWS for Esri Solutions Familiarity with designing/supporting Enterprise Imagery Services and Analytics best practices Business, Application and Data Architecture experience Experience defining roadmaps and standards Experience designing solutions that include business innovation and transformation, improved process workflows, and UI/UX Ability to decompose a business request into meaningful capabilities and processes Adept at creative solution development, drive to innovate and automate Previous experience working in an agile, fast-paced, dynamic project environments Hands-on experience with application development, system configuration, and support.
