Must be in U.S. to be considered.) Duration: 6+ months C2C Work Authorization: //- MOI: Virtual Job Description: The Data Migration Lead will lead the data migration development from one Salesforce based grant making system to another. Data migration activities will include data mapping, data analysis, ETL, rollback planning, data validation and reconciliation, error troubleshooting and resolution. This is a techno functional role that needs to be capable with technical backend development and comfortable with understanding the business processes that data migration supports. The Data Migration Lead also needs to be comfortable collaborating and communicating with non- technical colleagues. Must Haves: 10+ years of experience leading data migration projects Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, objects, fields, relationships, and data migration best practices Proficiency in data analysis, mapping, cleansing, and transformation techniques Experience with ETL tools (Azure Data Factory preferred,MuleSoft, Informatica, Talend, P, etc.) Strong understanding of source and target database schema including dependencies and sequencing Developing, documenting, managing data migration strategy including dependencies and sequencing Load data into Salesforce, ensuring data accuracy and completeness Validate and reconcile migrated and transformed data Plan data migration roll-back and recovery strategy Ability to extract data according to defined criteria, maintaining data integrity Experience transforming data to align with target system structure and client requirements Ability to analyze complex requirements, troubleshoot issues, and propose effective solutions Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills Degree in Computer Science, Data and analytics or related field Salesforce certifications Responsibilities: Collaborate with SMEs for source and target systems as advisors Work collaboratively with other workstreams functional design, technical design, systems integration, testers, infrastructure and security Identify and escalate risks, and report progress or blockers to colleagues and managers with a diverse level of technical expertise Proactively engage with SMEs and other workstreams to resolve issues Thanks and Regards.
