Kindly go through the below job description and share me your consultants updated profile: Role: Application Support Analyst Location ; Needham, MA hybrid Visa : USC,GC only MOI : Skype The consultant will work 3 days onsite and 2 days remote supporting a well-known retailer and brand. The consultant will be responsible for performing application support for Java and PHP applications running on Unix systems. The consultant will be responsible for incident management as well as making sure tickets are managed with the correct level of information. The consultant will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining optimized system performance and proactively identify areas for improvements for the applications running on Linux. Part of this will be maintaining up-to-date documentation related to system processes and procedures as well as collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including development, testing, site reliability and database teams to ensure timely resolution of tickets and to implement improvements. Required Skills: Experience in a technical support role responsible for supporting cloud based applications running on Linux servers (preferably POS and eComm platforms) Unix experience including UNIX, SOLARIS AIX, LINUX and Unix scripting (Perl and Bash) Exposure to a coding-languages such as Java & PHP Experience with databases such as SQL Understanding of MySQL and/or SQL querying Exposure to frontend troubleshooting e.g. JS and CSS Exposure to some automation tools like Jenkins, terraform or Kubernetes Exposure to Git or Docker Thanks and Regards.
