Job Description: Tell us about your department: Cloud Native Foundations is creating a platform based on AWS Cloud Native capabilities that will allow product teams control their infrastructure and deployments of their applications. Teams will have their own accounts with the ability to build out the infrastructure they need using terraform. The team is creating infrastructure modules to be used by the product teams and ensuring that these follow guidelines for security. Project Description: Engineer will join sprint team and deliver on feature roadmap. Position Summary/Job Description: This engineer will deliver complex product features that are well-tested and bug-free. They will excel at troubleshooting and resolving functional issues in the code. A good candidate will be skilled at breaking large problems into smaller ones and defining acceptance criteria. Persistent in the face of roadblocks, this candidate dispatches issues efficiently and pulls in others as necessary. They understand and make well-reasoned design decisions and trade-offs. This individual understands the architecture around the core systems they are responsible for. This engineer will require minimal direction and/or oversight on the work that is assigned. They should be an active participant in team and project planning activities. Able to triage complex issues independently, the right candidate is confident in various environments Mentor and coach junior developers. Provide expertise in software development lifecycle phases, including concept, design, testing and deployment Collaborate with cross-discipline teams to solve problems of a top 5 e-commerce website Develop software using current and leading-edge programming languages and technologies Share and champion ideas that evolve how we build our software product Skills Overview: What are the top five skills and number of years of experience required to perform this job 3+ years of relevant experience with a bachelors degree OR equivalent relevant professional experience Experience with AWS Cloud implementations - Networking (VPC, CloudFront, Route53), Serverless (Lambdas), APIs (API Gateway, AppSync), Security (WAF, KMS, IAM, Cognito), Logging (CloudFront, CloudTrail) Working knowledge of cyber concepts, penetration testing methods, vulnerabilities, information assurance, and security methodology e.g. DAST/SAST, OWASP Experience with Serverless Computing e.g. Docker, Podman, ECS, EKS, OCP Experience with using Terraform What are some preferred/nice to have skills the manager is looking for 3+ years of relevant professional experience Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field Experience with scripting languages e.g. JavaScript, Python, bash/command line Experience within CI/CD toolsets e.g. GitHub Actions Interview Process Overview: 45-minute phone screen with Hacker Rank test 90-minute panel in person Additional Job Requirements: Candidate Location: Local Candidates Only Schedule: Hybrid Best Regards Md.
