| Job Description - Technical Operations Manager for Configuration Engineering Job responsibilities Effectively manage the operational workload for Configuration Engineering. Ensure the Work In Progress (WIP) is optimized by evenly triaging incoming work to the team while maintaining a manageable backlog. Ensure we are meeting our established Service Level Objectives and be able to utilize the escalation process to meet these goals. Create and execute project plans to onboard each of clients new product launches in clients Software Tools. Establish a regular cadence for team meetings, communications, and provide regular status updates to all stakeholders. Solve problems, manage risks, identify process bottlenecks, and focus team resources on the critical path. Measure the baseline process performance, establish new metrics, and build dashboards. Reduce the process cycle time and prevent delays to NPI time to market that could result in lost customer deals/market opportunity. Act as a liaison to provide actionable feedback to functional process owners and project teams tasked with improving and/or transforming components of the end-to-end process. Qualifications BA/BS degree in computer science, business, engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience. 5+ years of experience in Technical Operations Management with an emphasis on systems, tools, data, and process engineering. Problem solver with strong verbal/written communication and facilitation skills, with proven ability to collaborate and influence across multiple levels of an organization. Desired Qualifications Fluency in PMP, Six Sigma (Green or Black), Lean, Value Stream Mapping, and other quality tools. Experience using SQL, Tableau, Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence, Metrics Dashboards, Data Modeling, and Data Visualization tools. Experience working with master data, data governance and MDM solutions. Experience working with NPI teams who develop hardware products (servers, networking, storage).
