Job Title: QA Lead Location: San Jose, CA (Hybrid/Day 1 Onsite) Duration: 6-12 months Open to C2C Experience Required: 7 10 years Job Description: Responsibilities: Establish and evolve formal QA processes, ensuring that the team is using industry-accepted best practices. Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met. Act as key point of contact onsite for all test aspects of releases, providing test services and coordinating with test resources offshore. Lead and mentor QA team members as needed Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual and automated). Diagnose defects and track them from discovery to resolution. Partner with engineering teams to stay informed of new technologies being introduced and ensure that system components are designed for testability. Partner with offshore team to conduct performance tests as needed. Provide testing support during production cutover (releases) as needed. Required Experience: 7+ years experience in the software testing or Quality Assurance field including hands-on test engineering experience (web application test experience preferred). Ability to write select queries and a solid understanding of relational databases. Demonstrated experience developing and executing test cases, scripts, plans and procedures to support various development methodologies Familiarity with the software development life cycle and test cycles (Unit, Regression, Functional, Systems, Stress & Scale, Smoke & Sanity) Understanding of multi-tier web application architecture and deployment Understanding of existing QA best practices and methodologies to design, implement and automate processes Experience working and partnering with an offshore team Experience with Test management tools such as JIRA and test automation tools such as QTP or Selenium Desirable Skills: Experience with marketing automation tools such has HubSpot, Eloqua, exact target, Client Campaign, Client Marketo. CRM test experience (Salesforce, Marketo or Dynamics), Web services test experience preferred. Quality certifications are a plus. Force.com, XML schema validation or test experience is a plus.
