Proficient in data migration and conversion from on-premises Oracle to Microsoft Azure SQL Server. 8Performs highly complex data management functions at an enterprise level; integrates, upgrades, and manages database environments; plans, organizes, tests and executes migration of databases from development to production environments. 8Experience must include developing stored procedures/triggers/scripts/SQL and optimizing/tuning SQL in enterprise-class production and development/test environments. 8 Implementing and maintaining data security protocols; configuring database authorization & authentication using platform and database tools; configures object-level permissions; implements data masking; implements compliance controls for sensitive data/PII 8Experience configuring and monitoring activity and performance for Azure SQL at the infrastructure, server, service, and database levels 8Experience configuring and monitoring activity and performance including Query Store; resolving production and operational problems; monitoring utilization and managing available database resources; all the above in order to optimize and tune performance. 8Configure storage resources; configure compute resources for scaling; analyzes data resource and server capacity and forecasts growth requirements; recommends server, hardware and software upgrades and enhancements to meet long-term needs. 8Provides enterprise-level short and long-term planning advice on technical enterprise database and systems management and utilization issues. 8Experience with T/SQL, SQL, DML, DDL and DCL to debug and resolve issues. 8Experience with RDBMS admin/console tools such as TOAD, SSMS and/or SQL Developer. 5Experience documenting data migration processes, CI/CD process, ETL pipelines, day-to-day operations. 5Configuring data integration and batch processing solutions in Azure Data Factory and/or SSIS; monitoring data ingestion processes and performance; review query plans and identify problem areas in execution plans. 5Demonstrated experience leading and evaluating the implementation of project requests to ensure efficient use of server/database resources. Further, in terms of logical design so as not to create inefficiencies, and unreasonable demands on computing res 5Demonstrated experience leading efficiency improvements and implementation of database administration policies and procedures. 3Demonstrates experience in data and systems architect duties; experience in migrating data from spreadsheets and from Oracle through SQL Server Migration Assistant (SSMA) and other platforms to Azure PaaS using Azure Data Factory 3 Demonstrates and promotes the effective sharing and utilization of common data across applications and departments/business units. 3Validate database build requirements, leverage automation tools to complete requirements.
