Title: Atlassian Tool Administrator Duration: 6+ month contract Location: Remote VISA: USC/GC/EAD GC/EAD H4 Interview: Phone and Video Candidate must have lived in the United States at least three (3) out of the last five (5) years. NIH -CTEP Project Description The position requires CM tools administration for a CMMi Level 3 certified company and uses SAFe methodology for software development lifecycle. The job entails applying the principles and concepts of configuration and change management in the context of complex system efforts in the build and deploy arena, while supporting the CTRM (Clinical Trials Research Management) applications. Must have experience in Atlassian tools suite (JIRA, Confluence, Bamboo, BitBucket) and expert in scripting. Must possess strong analytical and consultative skills and be able to work independently. Must be able to develop detailed implementation strategies, Responsibilities: Specific responsibilities of the Atlassian Tool Administrator will include: Migrate Atlassian tools from on-premises server edition software installation to the Atlassian cloud and data center software installation with high availability. Integrate plug-ins within the Atlassian tools. Atlassian tools administration such as project administration, Integration with other tools and plugins, backup and recovery Atlassian tools workflow design, form development, and validation checks using scripts. Atlassian tools Installation, upgrade and maintenance Perform Identity and Access Management functions. Setup users, roles, privileges, etc. Enforce appropriate security controls to secure environments Manage the Release and Deployment Management process by automating the build and deployment of applications to various environments development, testing, and production. (CI/CD pipeline) Performing configuration status audits, baselines, baseline reports, release setups, code library maintenance and overall sanctity of code Work with application project teams to incorporate Java, Angular and .Net applications into the Atlassian tool suite for build and deploy Lead tools upgrade efforts for Atlassian servers Develop and maintain CM Process documentation, which include Installation Guides, Procedures, and Training manuals Provide end-user training Qualifications: Job Requirements: Atlassian Tools Administration (JIRA, Confluence, Bamboo, BitBucket, etc.) Atlassian Tools cloud administration, configuration, and migration CMMi, SAFe and ITIL Knowledge Expertise in Git branching strategies and best practices Perl and PowerShell Scripting Required Skills/Experience: Bachelors degree in computer science or related IT technology field. Minimum 3 years of experience with Atlassian Tools Administration.
