| From: Zara, TechRakers [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] TERRAFORM GCP ENGINEER Candidates must have experience developing/writing Terraform Modules from scratch and experience provisioning GCP (Google Cloud) services using Terraform. We did a project like this at Charles Schwab, there could be some formers from there. Preferred Terraform Enterprise if not, Terraform OpenSource (OSS) is fine. This is NOT a consumer of Terraform, they are building the source of Terraform that will be used by all other DevOps teams across Fannie. The Enterprise Terraform CoE is responsible for owning, building, and managing the Terraform platform for all of Fannie Mae. The Application Development and DevOps teams within Fannie Mae are consumers of this Terraform team. This team builds the Terraform Modules / Templates from scratch other teams use these templates. This team works with Product Owners from different IT areas (network, firewall, IAM, SSO, etc.) owning, building, and modifying the controls, modules, and policies that those groups utilize. This team is building all the Terraform modules that will be used as a standardized set by the rest of Fannie Mae. Candidates must have experience with: Terraform Module Developer NOT a user, looking for candidates who are Producers / Enable Terraform modules and tasks. For Example: Writes code to inform Terraform it needs to do a specific task. When a user submits a request for ECS for example this Developer is the one who setup that process on the backend. Python, GCP (Google Cloud) Building and Customizing Terraform Foundation Modules from scratch: Generating mocks Defining policies and rules at organizational level Code reviews Work with testing teams and handle troubleshooting activities (revise code, etc.) Experienced with building Terraform modules for Google Cloud Foundations Library Customize Google Cloud Foundations Terraform Modules Set up modules to execute creation of infrastructure through CI/CD pipelines (GitLab) BitBucket is code repository Build / write backend code which will invoke the pull and push request for Terraform templates. HCL scripting experience Terraform Enterprise experience is highly preferred SME Terraform Open-Source Platform / Environment Developers is also fine. Preferred Terraform Enterprise Experience Includes: Building, provisioning, deleting and modifying policies in Terraform Implementing Terraform modules and policies into Enterprise environments. Candidate should have the ability and aptitude to learn Sentinel policy on the job. Developer who puts in the guardrails for a specific module or task Set up policies related to each module / task the Module Developer created in Terraform to restrict unnecessary access or authorization of requests by group or user.
