Role: Guidewire Data Analyst Location: San Antonio, TX (Hybrid) Job Description: Guidewire Data Analyst to support our client projects on our delivery team. As our Guidewire Data Analyst, you will be responsible for providing your technical expertise in planning sprints, propose/develop model extensions in consultation with the data governance team, and person other responsibilities associated to the role throughout our Guidewire projects, collaborating with program managers, architects, developers, business analysts, quality assurance testers, and the client. Additional responsibilities include: Plan sprints in Rally: creating them and assigning the release dates for individual workstreams Plan backlog items to sprints by their priority, dependency, the plan for interface specification and number of story-points Plan tasks sprints Create subtasks for development and testing under each new feature Review and approve the data model extensions, new entity designs, and reference data proposed by the development team Maintain the Technical Roadmap document Map data between systems (along with business analysts) Perform data profiling and identify source system anomalies Document transformation and cleansing rules Develop test plans and validate test data Who You Are To qualify for this position, you should meet the following requirements: Superb Communication skills is a must 2+ years experience with Guidewire required 3+ years experience as a Data Analyst 3+ years experience in the Insurance industry; property and casualty insurance preferred Experience with software development, QA and/or Project Management preferred Agile/Scrum experience required Superb communication skills, attention to detail, and strong customer service required.
