Role:-Data Management Reporting Analyst

Location:-Hybrid - Auburn Hills, Farmington Hills, Michigan (Need Local Only )

Shift: Day - Hybrid: Tuesdays and Wednesdays in office at a minimum

We have a contract opportunity for a Data Management Reporting Analyst. Will start in Auburn Hills and then move to Farmington office.
Hybrid, on site 2 days a week. Local candidates, no relocation will be considered. The skill sets required are far simpler so hopefully we can find a few solid locals and get some interviews.

Creating from Scratch Dashboards, Scorecards

Proficient in SQL

Experienced in Power BI

Primary Skill(s) Needed:

Creating Scorecards and Leaderboards (in a Banking domain).

Extensive experience creating reports within one of 5 reporting domains (Deposit Products, Payment and Electronic Services, Loan Products, Customer, and Access Points and Compliance) to support business decisions in the Retail Bank, including Retail Product Management, Banking Center Network Management, Market Operations, Retail Sales & Banking Centers and Business Banking.

Most importantly Power BI, Access and Excel followed by Power Point and Word.

Proficient in SQL

Nice to have:

In-depth knowledge of application system data availability within their reporting domain, including application systems CIS, DDA, TDA, CLN, PLN, CBM, HBK, MOB, WBP, DWH, DSS, and OFSA, as well vendor software and data: ERSI ArcGIS, Informa, SNA, Claritas, and finally public information FDIC Summary of Deposits.

Proficient programming skills and data extraction tool knowledge required within their reporting domain including mainframe JCL, mainframe SAS, SAS EG, Hyperion, Toad SQL, and Cognos. Proficient knowledge of advanced functionality in MS Office products.

Advanced project management skills, including time management / prioritization, managing and measuring work, and communicating results and status.

Experience analyzing data and developing management reports and tools.

Job Summary:

Manage databases, programs, process streams and reports that are utilized to convert raw data from the banks application systems as well as vendor provided demographic and competitive pricing information into consumable information for Retail Bank management.

Create Scorecards and Leaderboards.

Generates reports and provides analyses within one of 5 reporting domains (Deposit Products, Payment and Electronic Services, Loan Products, Customer, and Access Points and Compliance) to support business decisions in the Retail Bank, including Retail Product Management, Banking Center Network Management, Market Operations, Retail Sales & Banking Centers and Business Banking.

Prepares data utilizing standardization and normalization techniques ensuring consistency and reliability in all reports generated.

Creates new reporting processes, automates manual processes, maintains and executes scheduled reporting processes, and most importantly validates results first, and then provides insight on metric trends, changes, and cause and effect relationships.

Individual is a subject matter expert within their reporting domain frequently required to provide information and insight to the Finance, Commercial Bank, and Wealth Management divisions of the bank.

Job Specific Skills needed:
