We are looking for a Sr. Business Analyst to help lead a business transformation initiative as we move to replace an existing ERP system with new ERP software. This role is a FTE, salaried opportunity providing full benefits including PTO, 401K contribution, and full health benefits. The candidate selected for this position will be required 3 days/week of onsite work in Dover, DE. This position will direct and actively participate in 4-5+ activity workstreams. candidate will help maintain hardware to cloud and existing application on premises as well as explore moving hardware and existing application to the cloud. Duties and Responsibilities Bridge the gap between business needs and the solutions within the organization. Work closely with stakeholders from various departments to understand their business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for ERP system. Direct and actively participate in 4-5+ activity workstreams. Analyze the business domain, documents its processes and systems, outlines business requirements, and match a software business model with the software to be implemented. Experienced in workflow and process improvements, will work with team members to document current state processes, and work with stakeholders to identify process improvement, including developing a production run or modernization roadmap and business case. Candidate should be adept in business to technology translation and possess expertise in client engagement. Skills Required Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Collaborating with business stakeholders to elicit, document, and analyze their requirements for the project and systems. This involves conducting interviews, workshops, and analyzing existing business processes to identify opportunities for improvement. KPI development - Measures outcomes against business and vendor community; is critical to project success. Public Sector and solution research - Analyzes available vendor solutions, including those used by peer public sector organizations that best suit agency requirements. Business Process Modeling: Creating visual representations, such as process flows and diagrams, to illustrate current and future state business processes. This helps in identifying areas of optimization and defining system requirements. Stakeholder Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors. Acting as a liaison between different parties, ensuring clear communication, managing expectations, and facilitating consensus on project deliverables. Change Management: Assisting with change management efforts by analyzing the impact of proposed system changes on business processes, training needs, and organizational structure. Collaborating with stakeholders to develop change management strategies and communication plans to facilitate smooth transitions. Quality Assurance and Testing: Collaborating with testing teams to define test plans, scenarios, and test cases based on the documented requirements. Reviewing and validating test results to ensure the solution meets business needs and performs as expected. Skills/Education Preferred Knowledge in Peoplesoft HCM, Finance or Pension modules.
