Should be able to travel to Operations and Customer locations in Southern California, New York, and other locations in US Here is the JD for the Business Analyst position. We are seeking for a Business Analyst with 8+ years of experience. The candidate must meet below requirements. Must have strong domain knowledge on Freight forwarding, Supply Chain, Logistics and Transportation. Knowledge on Purchase Order Management and NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) is added advantage. Understand key transportation domain functions such as Carrier bookings, Container management, ISF/AMS Customs clearance, origin/destination cargo handling, consolidation, deconsolidation, and finance functions such as Tariffs, Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payables. Work with stakeholders from Operations, Business and Finance teams to gather business requirements. Translate the requirements into detailed functional requirements, workflow storyboards, wireframes, use cases and scenarios. Analyze and understand the features in current application and convert user requests into requirements. Maintains library of collected requirements and documentation according to the standards and can produce the documents as required by the developers/project team. Work in flexible schedule to attend meetings with China Operations and India Development teams during PST evening hours. Preferred work location is Walnut creek, California.
