Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer in a production environment. Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline tools like GitHub Actions and Jenkins. Strong knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud environments. Experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and Kubernetes. Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Pulumi or Terraform. Automated testing experience, including security testing. Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell). Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Desired Qualifications: Experience with Istio or other service mesh technologies. Familiarity with microservices architecture. Knowledge of monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., Prometheus, ELK Stack). Previous experience in identity management or security-related projects. Relevant certifications in cloud platforms, DevOps, or security. RESPONSIBILITIES CI/CD Pipeline Management: - Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and/or Jenkins to automate software deployment and releases. - Streamline the development process, ensuring code is built, tested, and deployed efficiently. - Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated testing into the pipeline. Cloud Environment Management: - Work with popular cloud environments such as AWS and Azure to deploy, configure, and manage infrastructure resources. - Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency. - Implement security best practices for cloud-based systems. Containerization and Orchestration: - Utilize Docker and Kubernetes to containerize applications and manage orchestration in a containerized environment. - Collaborate on deploying and scaling applications using Kubernetes. - Experience with Istio for service mesh is a plus. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): - Use tools like Terraform and Pulumi to define and manage infrastructure resources. - Maintain version-controlled infrastructure configurations. - Ensure infrastructure changes are tracked and auditable. Automated Testing and Security: - Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools to verify system functionality, performance, and security. - Integrate security scanning tools and practices into the CI/CD pipeline. - Collaborate with security teams to remediate vulnerabilities.
