Required Skills: - 10+ years; professional software development and maintenance experience - C++ programming language and object-oriented design skills. - Security: PKICS#11, HTTP/S, PKI, SSL. - Knowledge of LINUX & WINDOWS operating system. - Knowledge of CI/CD. - Knowledge of Jira, Bit buckets, Confluence and GIT. - HSMs. Integrate Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) for secure encrypted key storage and operations. - Perl and shell scripting on RHEL. What to expect: As a Software Engineer you will be working closely with internal customers, technical analysts, and other engineers to develop your product/service. You will ensure the gathering of technical market insights and customer needs, combine that with your expertise and you will stay focus on continuous improvement to deliver key product improvements to achieve customer satisfaction having the end-to-end ownership of your daily activities. You will be involved in all stages of software development, being front-end development, back-end development, database integrations, network and hosting management, user interface, user experience, and back-end server management. By joining the Product Group, you will create and deliver customer-centric products in an Agile way, build an ecosystem around the SWIFT platform, and innovate with clients, as part of an Agile tribe or team. Key responsibilities: Design, develop, test, install and support programs/systems, Support projects proposals based on cost/benefit justification interfacing with stakeholders across functional and geographical lines, Meet with customers to understand needs and requirements, and make recommendations on best practice systems solutions for small to medium size/complexity/risk projects, Analyze detail systems factors: input/output requirements, information flow, hardware and software requirements, alternative approaches, etc., Validate alternative problem management proposals and make decisions on solutions, Provide technical assistance to other SWIFT colleagues and assist in resolving problems reported by less senior team members. Education: University degree in Computer Science or related disciplines/equivalent work experience Preferred Skills: - API design principles and development. - DevOps. - Agile mythologies - Java - Docker Mandatory Requirements a Software Engineer with a financial industry background and completed bachelors degree, along with 10+ years development/design experience in C++, Linux (Red Hat; RHEL), Java, Jira, Bit bucket, Docker containerization, API designs within a DevOps and Agile/SCRUM environment. The objective of the Software Engineer role is to provide full-stack modernization of SWIFTs current foundation of web-based and mobile applications performing Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) secure financial messaging solutions. SWIFT automates messaging services for their enterprise clients. You would join SWIFTs development team of eight members including three full-stack Software Engineers, two Project Managers, SCRUM Master, UX Designer and Business Analyst performing constant two-week blitz cycles in their Agile methodology environment.
