An early response is really appreciated Title: Automation QA engineer Location: Philadelphia, PA(Onsite) Must Skill: Python Scripting and API testing Duration: Long Term Responsibilities: Design and develop test automation and tools, with a focus on maintainability at a large scale Analyze requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing test systems Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts for web services testing, using Python scripting Write test cases and detail test scenarios, ensuring their completeness, automation, and execution Lead in the identification and resolution of problems and defects, and assist in driving them to resolution Collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and operations Integrate test automation with build systems, test case management, and bug tracking tools Qualifications: 5+ years of proven experience testing internet or cloud-based services and platforms in a Linux environment 3+ years of hands-on experience developing technical test automation frameworks, including API, UI, and unit test automation Strong understanding and practical experience with web services testing, using Python scripting Familiarity with REST/SOAP/JSON APIs Proficiency in at least one cloud platform (e.g., VMWare, OpenStack, Cloudstack) and one automation framework (e.g., Puppet, Chef, CFEngine) Knowledge of web and networking technologies on the server and client side Strong scripting skills in Python Solid working knowledge of NoSQL and MySQL databases, with preference given to experience with Cassandra Familiarity with system and application performance and load testing is a plus Self-motivated individual with excellent oral and written communication skills Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field (Masters degree preferred) Looking forward to work with you !!
