[email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Description - Position: Sr. Software Engineer (Big Data) Location: San Francisco, CA (Strongly prefer candidates who are already living in the SF area and are willing to immediately work on-site 2 days per week (Tues & Thurs), but open to non-local candidates who are willing to relocate to be on-site day one) Duration: 12+ Months Visa: No H1B/CPT MOI: Skype Requirement: Glider Coding Assessment: Bigdata Engineer - Spark, Scala/Java, Hadoop, MySQL/PostgreSQL and Azure/AWS/Cloudera. Must Have Skills: Spark Scala or Java Working experience with any big data platforms (Azure, AWS, cloud era) Hive Airflow Hadoop NoSQL or Relational Database A seasoned Big Data developer either with cloud or on-prem distributions Proficiency in, at least, one modern programming language such as Java or Scala Strong Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis. Extensive experience with Spark Processing engine.
