We are looking for a highly skilled Optical System and Packaged Chip Test Engineer with expertise in optical fiber communication to lead the testing and validation of key components in our optical communication systems. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and reliability. This role presents an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about optics, high-speed optical fiber communication, and who have experience in testing laser, modulators, photodetectors, performing BER and TDECQ analysis, and statistical data analysis. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. Design and implement test plans, methodologies, and protocols for laser diodes, optical modulators, photodetectors (PDs), and high-speed passive optical components. 2. Conduct comprehensive testing and validation of optical components to assess their performance and reliability in optical communication systems. 3. Perform high-speed optical characterization and testing of lasers, modulators, PDs, and passive components to ensure adherence to industry standards. 4. Analyze and optimize optical components and systems to meet performance specifications, including spectral characteristics, linearity, bandwidth, and noise characteristics. 5. Develop and implement test automation solutions using Python to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the testing process. 6. Conduct Eye Diagram measurements to evaluate signal quality and performance. 7. Perform Bit Error Rate (BER) and TDECQ analysis to evaluate the quality of optical communication systems. 8. Utilize statistical data analysis techniques to derive insights and make data-driven decisions. 9. Generate clear and comprehensive test reports and documentation. 10. Utilize data analysis and statistical data visualization techniques to derive insights from high-speed measurement data. 11. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide technical expertise and contribute to product development and improvement. **Qualifications:** 1. Master's degree in Optical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with minimum of 5 years of industry experience or PHd degree in Optical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with minimum of 2 years of industry experience. 2. Proven experience in optical fiber communication testing, optical module system verification, and validation. 3. Proficiency in optical test equipment, such as optical spectrum analyzers, optical power meters, and interferometers. 4. Strong knowledge of optical components and systems, including lasers, optical amplifiers, and photodetectors. 5. Familiarity with optical simulation and modeling tools. 6. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. 7. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. 8. Experience with programming and automation tools (e.g., LabVIEW, Python). 9.
