Database Management: Install, configure, and upgrade Couchbase database clusters. Monitor database performance and ensure optimal performance by tuning configurations and troubleshooting issues. Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures. 2. Security and Compliance: Implement and maintain database security measures to protect sensitive data. Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and industry best practices. 3. Scaling and High Availability: Design and implement strategies for database scaling and high availability. Implement failover and replication solutions to minimize downtime. 4. Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and inefficiencies. Implement caching and indexing strategies to improve query performance. 5. Automation and Scripting: Develop automation scripts and tools for database provisioning, configuration management, and monitoring. Implement DevOps practices for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD). 6. Collaboration: Work closely with developers and operations teams to ensure database requirements are met. Provide support and guidance to the development team for database-related tasks. Mandatory Skills: Proven experience as a Couchbase Database Administrator or similar role. In-depth knowledge of Couchbase database architecture and administration. Proficiency in database tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) for automation. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices is a plus.
