(Max) W2 The position is hybrid (onsite in Ann Arbor, MI) Skills: Strong coding experience in JavaScript. Experience with integrating test automation with CI/CD. Experience with test case development, test execution for Native/Hybrid Mobile Applications (Android and iOS). Automation testing experience with Selenium, Appium / WebDriver IO with any cloud services: preferred Sauce labs. At least 3 years of experience in Mobile Testing and Automation framework development using JAVA, Selenium and Appium / Webdriver IO Automation. Experience setting up the Appium Test Framework, establish testing direction/strategy, write the test scripts, and execute test protocols. Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent experience. Minimum 7 years industry experience, preferably in an Agile development environment. 5+ years of NodeJS, JavaScript development experience. Experience with test toolsets/frameworks. Cucumber/Gherkin, Selenium web driver, Maven. Experience with automated testing tools (Selenium Web driver with Nodejs). Version control tools -Jenkins, Maven, Git, Grunt. Experience working with databases and various data formats and related technologies for testing. Experience with defect tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.). Experience with source control versioning systems (Git, Stash, Source tree.). Responsibilities: Participate in developing and documenting User Stories, including testing estimates and validation tests. Develop automated tests for features developed in-sprint. Perform desk checks and code reviews. Develop, document, and maintain the test strategy and test scenarios. Partner with the developers and BAs to ensure all areas of the application are fully tested and issues are clearly logged and prioritized consistently. Partner with developers to find technical solutions for test automation. Manage the defect log and ensure issues are resolved, including validation of the fix. Certify software functionality for new Production releases. Work with Integration Build teams to manage dev, QA, and production release of the software. Provide exploratory testing to understand the feature and how it is implemented, to find additional or unexpected behavior, and to refine and define additional test cases for the feature.
