Role: Azure Data Architect Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid) Duration: 12+ Months Start Date: ASAP Job description: Helping clients in designing and constructing analytics cloud solutions to drive improved outcomes. Analyse existing data design and suggest improvements that promote performance, stability and interoperability. Work with development teams in migrating on-premise database to various Azure data stores Establish and maintain database architecture standards and best practices Creating architectures to transform and modernize enterprise data solutions using Azure cloud data technologies. Supporting the use of data-driven insights to help clients achieve their goals while maintaining strict security measures. Designing and constructing data pipelines, reports, dashboards, data services APIs, and other data-related services. Collaborating with client stakeholders to gather solution requirements and make architecture decisions. Collecting, aggregating, and analysing structured and unstructured data from various internal and external sources during implementation. Demonstrating proficiency in understanding consumption cost drivers in Azure cloud-based solutions. Developing and maintaining data warehouse schematics, layouts, architectures, and relational/non-relational databases for data access and Advanced Analytics. Establishing effective metrics for data monitoring processes, and possessing knowledge of DevOps processes (including CI/CD) and Infrastructure as Code fundamentals.
