Senior Front-End Developer Experience Specialist III Jersey City, New Jersey (Hybrid) USC only Skype 12 Months HIGHLY DESIRABLE: PORT AUTHORITY OF NY & NJ EXPERIENCE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Under the supervision of the Digital Customer Service Manager, the successful candidate is an experienced Front-End Developer with solid technical skills set to help the Authority create and manage high-quality content across all digital channels. This individual is responsible for ensuring content is consistent with site standards, style guides, and working side-by-side with a variety of content owners and experts to publish and optimize content that promotes their department and the Authoritys objectives. Responsive Website development and maintenance, utilizing: Adobe AEM CMS, or non- CMS, React, webpack, node, HTML5, CSS4, JavaScript development; execute as per the corporate design standards. Integrate frontend code with backend Java code using Adobe slightly/HTML. Research and development: Investigate and evaluate new practices, technologies, and tools that may enhance or improve existing applications and provide valuable business benefits to the agency. prototype development. Work with Adobe AEM Architect for directions and implementation best practices. Participate in strategy and brainstorm sessions with colleagues and clients. Handle Daily Ad-Hoc service calls, troubleshooting and resolution. Debug, troubleshoot, and fix the configuration and integration issue. Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to delivering custom site experience. Deliver against the website optimization and customized experience strategies across the website and other touch points. Partner with analytics teams on measurement across customize sites. Track content to ensure compliance expiration dates. Manage content vendor relations. Provide general analytics on digital content to determine effectiveness and to gain insights to future strategies. Troubleshoot and respond to issues in order to resolve them quickly. EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in computer science, programming or engineering, and minimum of 12 years professional experience performing web development. Minimum of 12 years experience in front end development. A minimum a bachelors degree in computer engineering. Hands-on development experience working with CMS, specifically Adobe Experience Manager. Knowledge of Adobe Marketing Cloud. Minimum of 9 years of hands-on development experience with Java. Experience in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model. Hands-on expertise in React.js and its core principles. Expertise in React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux). Expertise in RESTful APIs. Extensive hands-on experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, Gulp, Grunt, node etc. Experience working with a CSS preprocessor LESS/SASS. Candidates must also possess the following: Strong UX and design sensibilities, and a desire to sweat the small stuff. Technical background with expertise in engineering principles and design patterns. Passionate about writing clean, modern, maintainable, & highly-performant code. Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems. Have a positive, collaborative, and solution-oriented approach. Experience with working in an Agile team. Experience with Typescript is a plus. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must sign PA Non-Disclosure Agreement Must obtain Secure Workers Access Consortium (SWAC) background check WORK HOURS The normal workday for the Senior Front-End Developer will be 9AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday except for observed holidays. The Consultant shall work an 8-hour workday, with a mandatory 1-hour Lunch Break. Total billable hours per week shall not exceed 40 hours. All overtime must be pre-approved by the designated Project Manager before any work is performed. EVALUATION CRITERIA Proposals will be evaluated based on the following criteria, listed in order of importance: The degree and extent to which the proposed staff has the Front-End Developer experience and qualifications as described in the SOW. The degree and extent to which the proposal for the services is cost effective for the Port Authority of NY & NJ. RESPONSE REQUIREMENTS The response must address all items listed in Section 2 of this document as well as the items listed below: Provide resumes of all proposed staff who are available for this project. Staff being proposed must meet the education, experience and technical qualifications identified for the Senior Front-End Developer Specialist III - in Section 2 of this Scope of Work, Description of Services and Technical Skill/Specialty. Provide detailed description of at least two (2) assignment where the proposed Senior Front-End Developer Specialist III - have had responsibility for managing Adobe related projects simultaneously. References identifying telephone number and e-mail contact information must be provided for each reference. Provide hourly billing rate for the proposed Sr. Front-end Developer Specialist III.
