Responsibilities: Design, develop, implement, and configure cloud environments and tools. Ensure the stability and reliability of operations in AWS cloud. Implement AWS services to improve security posture. Implement security controls and security features to support and address cybersecurity challenges. Implements monitoring best practices to take proactive steps and troubleshoot production problems. Configuration and Automation of broad range of AWS services Development and enhancement of CloudFormation and Terraform scripts for the AWS infrastructure. As part of a team, execute implementation plans in the AWS environment for a variety of initiatives ranging from load balanced EC2 scaling groups to Lambda functions. Provide technical support on the AWS environment. Document aspects of the AWS environment Manage AWS resources and native cloud services and products. Maintain the continuity of operations with 100% up time. Participate in all phases of Agile methodology (planning, grooming, coding sprint items). The Cloud Engineers provide 24x7 on-call support along with the other members of the kanban team. Provide technical support work with application teams to troubleshoot and resolve incidents. Required Skills: Experience with core AWS platform architecture, including areas such as: Organizations, Account Design, VPC, Subnet, segmentation strategies. Hands on experience with Web Applications Server including NGINX. Experience in monitoring the operations and security of EC2, container and AWS services. Experience in managing, maintaining, and automating the container infrastructure using AWS services such as ECS and EKS Familiarity with executing Stacks, StackSets, CloudFormation scripts, etc.; Familiarity with network connectivity, AWS Direct Connect and AWS Site-to-Site VPNs Familiarity with encryption specifically AWS KMS Familiarity with logging with CloudWatch, CloudTrail, etc. Ability to execute implementation plans in the AWS environment for a variety of initiatives ranging from load balanced EC2 scaling groups to Lambda functions. 2-3 years of working experience on Load Balancing Technologies (emphasis on F5, NLB, and ALB) Ability to manage AWS resources and native cloud services and products. Maintain the continuity of operations with 100% up time. Experience working within a Continuous Integration environment using Docker, Kubernetes. Experience with Git, and GitHub versioning systems. Self-directed and self-motivated with the ability to take charge or play a supporting role. Clear written and verbal communications skills. Ability to Monitor and manage system resources and application performance. This individual should have worked with several monitoring tools such as, Splunk, New relic, ExtraHop, Kibana, Elasticsearch, etc. This individual should have worked with several building tools such as, Maven, Gradle, ANT, Grunt etc. Experience working with Jira, Confluence Education/Experience Level: 5 years of Application Development /Maintenance and/or Application Administration 2 to 4 years of experience maintaining the AWS infrastructure. 2 to 3 years of experience with DevOps tools. 2 to 3 years of experience with supporting applications on AWS. Experience working on an Agile Project Experience working in large projects interacting with several teams within the project. Bachelors degree in Technical field.
