| From: Shubham, USC Group [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Position: Senior Platform Engineer Location: NJ location Hybrid work (Jersey City or Whitehouse) Visa: Only USC, GC, GC-EAD, H4-EAD and NO H1B, OPT-EAD Need Senior resources on this role, Minimum 12-15 Years of consultant along with a Minimum of 5-7 Years in Platform Engineering Qualifications: 5+ years of platform engineering and administration experience at the enterprise level with overall 10-15 years experience in Technology Strong knowledge of Kafka, Drools, Kubernetes, Azure, Linux, MongoDB as well as some database management skills. Demonstrate strong expertise in vulnerability management, including automated threat modeling and mitigation techniques, with advanced engineering skills in troubleshooting, incident management, and CVE resolution. Basic understanding in real-time and stream processing use cases, with the ability to fine-tune architecture for optimized efficiency. Proficiency in DevOps principles and practices, with experience in CI/CD pipelines, Helm chart maintenance, and Kubernetes containerization and orchestration. Strong knowledge of Azure AKS, including resource provisioning, architecture design, firewall, and network security, and change management. Experience in global platform upgrades and patches for mission-critical systems. Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of Apache Kafka, Flink and other stream processing technologies. Demonstrate the ability to do POCs, innovate, research, and fail fast when needed for the development of new platform features.
