Leveraging your expertise in regulatory affairs within the oil and gas sector, you will play a crucial role in facilitating smooth project execution while upholding the highest standards of compliance. Key Responsibilities: Regulatory Analysis: Stay informed about the latest local, regional, and international regulations impacting the oil and gas industry. Conduct in-depth analyses to interpret and communicate regulatory requirements to project teams. Client, Site, and Government Relations: Interface with clients to understand their specific regulatory expectations and incorporate them into project plans. Cultivate positive relationships with government agencies and site authorities to ensure smooth project approvals. Compliance Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive compliance plans tailored to each project's unique regulatory landscape. Collaborate with project teams to integrate compliance considerations into project schedules and deliverables. Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain meticulous documentation showcasing compliance with all applicable regulations. Generate regular reports for internal and external stakeholders, highlighting compliance status and potential areas of improvement. Audits and Inspections: Coordinate and participate in audits and inspections related to regulatory compliance. Implement corrective actions based on audit findings to continuously enhance compliance practices. Training and Awareness: Conduct training sessions to enhance the regulatory awareness of project teams. Ensure that team members understand and adhere to compliance protocols throughout project lifecycles. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field. 5 to 15 years of experience in regulatory and compliance roles within the oil and gas industry.
