This position will work onsite every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday Relocation is NOT an option- this candidate must live within 45 minutes of Westerville, OH! Accepted Visas: no h1b Splunk Engineer to be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Splunk on-prem solutions to meet the needs of the organization. The Splunk Engineer will build and configure Splunk applications, design and deploy dashboards and reports, and provide support to users. The role requires strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain Splunk on-prem solutions that meet the needs of the organization Design and deploy dashboards, reports, and alerts to meet the needs of our users Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and design solutions Provide support to our users, including troubleshooting and issue resolution Build and configure Splunk applications and add-ons Work with other engineers to integrate Splunk with other systems Maintain documentation of all Splunk configurations and workflows Stay up to date with new Splunk releases and features Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices Participate in on-call rotations as needed Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field preferred 3+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining Splunk solutions Experience with Splunk Enterprise Security (ES), Splunk IT Service Intelligence (ITSI), or Splunk User Behavior Analytics (UBA) Strong understanding of Splunk search processing language (SPL) Experience in designing and deploying Splunk dashboards and reports Knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems and command line tools Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Bash Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Splunk Certified Architect or Splunk Certified Consultant certification is a plus Kind Regards, Devyani Kumari| Absolute IT | Sr. Technical Recruiter 116 Village Blvd Suite 200 Princeton New Jersey 08540 Absolute IT Direct: (609) 982 3380 Office: 201-228-3009 EXT 180 [email protected] www.absoluting.com Keywords: information technology Ohio |
