Position Scope: 

The Integration Solution Designer is responsible for working with client and internal stakeholders to understand, specify, and design an EHR integration solution that delivers value to the organization and client end users. We are looking for an experienced technical healthcare (EHR-informed) individual who has an interest in the digital health industry with a focus on cardiac device management and cardiac remote monitoring. This is a client-facing role that will support commercial activities as well as prepare implementation scopes and timeline estimates.  Keys to success include the ability to execute detail-oriented designs and business acumen to communicate with a variety of professionals.

Essential Functions:      

Lead in designing, specifying, and selecting an EHR solution for each client project during the commercial process or immediately post sale; consider workflow functionality, data, available EHR integration offerings, infrastructure, resource availability across teams

Document project scoping, initial stakeholder planning, and timeline estimates for each project to share internally and with clients

Work with Integration project manager and analyst as well as the commercial and customer success point of contacts to develop high level project schedule resource plans for implementation projects.

Prepare business cases for EHR solutions, considering infrastructure, licenses (as applicable), development and support

Partner with the organization to understand company and departmental strategy and agree on solutions to meet needs of clients and business objectives

Maintain an awareness of business solutions particularly in the areas of collaboration, documentation, and CRM

Investigate standards and EHR third-party programs offerings and published updates for future organizational and product enhancements specific to EHR

Understand and support the applications software architecture design and support development team in developing business use cases for product EHR enhancements

Lead the organization in discovery, documentation, and use knowledge of EHR solutions to drive organizational change and support business needs

Project experience and share lessons learned effectively to improve the organizational memory

Qualifications:           

Demonstrated knowledge base in electronic health record platforms, including Epic, Athena, Cerner, and others

In depth understanding of healthcare data standards, including FHIR, SMART on FHIR, Proprietary API, HL7v2 Standards

Ability to develop and document solution designs specific to each EHR offering while considering variables across a client organization

Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to lay audiences; experience working with broad level of stakeholders

Self-starter with ability to appropriately prioritize and plan complex work in a rapidly changing environment

Results oriented with ability to product products and well documented solution designs that deliver organization and client benefit

Strong critical thinker with problem solving aptitude

Strong conceptual and analytical skills demonstrating out of the box problem solving skills

Team player with experience leading and collaborating cross-team to ensure successful delivery of solution

Proven experience in overseeing or participating in executing the design of technical projects for a software, systems, or products.

Strives to lead and encourage strong, multidisciplinary teams.

Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment while remaining flexible to understand both business and technical perspectives.

Ability to effectively communicate with individuals on all levels throughout the organization.

Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

Excellent planning, time-management, organization, and prioritization skills.

Familiar with standard Business & IT concepts, practices, and procedures. Willing to perform variety of tasks

Education:

Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or in area of specialty is preferred.

Preferred experience in the cardiology or cardiac device space
