Position Title: .Net Engineer Location: Remote Experience: 10+ Years Who is it for This open position is for a passionate, self-motivated, individual contributor role as a software engineer on an agile team that specializes in the interpretation of business requirements, design, implementation, maintenance, and documentation of software applications owned by the team. An ideal candidate is a technology enthusiast who can efficiently build, test, deliver and maintain high quality, sustainable software solutions. The ideal candidate will be expected to have a diverse background in modern programming languages and frameworks and ability to operate individually with minimal guidance and provide mentoring opportunities. Participate in all phases of the SDLC. Actively participate in team problem solving exercises, Agile sprint ceremonies, implementation of the Product Backlog Items, peer code reviews. Team player with an exploratory mind set and a passion to provide creative solutions to a complex business use cases and development needs. Responsibilities: Work collaboratively with the other developers and stakeholders to deliver solutions that align with stakeholder requirements and consumer needs. Design, build, test and deploy REST APIs using .NET framework with micro service architecture, fix bugs and maintain. Innovate and contribute to improve the collective skillset and knowledge of the team. Build and maintain clean, efficient, reusable, testable and reliable code. Proactively seek opportunities to improve and innovate SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle). Articulate technical concepts to non-technical people. Actively engage in Scrum-like ceremonies and vocalize progress, impediments, and ideas. Participate in a diverse team that follows a collective code ownership model. Aid in writing performant code that adheres to existing and emerging team standards. Create and integrate modular, secure, well-tested code into a potentially shippable system. Provide insightful code review critiques in a professional way that emphasizes skill building. Seek peer review of work and be receptive to team commentary. Create and enhance technical documentation around systems and processes as needed. Keep abreast of advancements in software technologies and best practices. Efficiently self-manage time and update supporting project management systems with accurate time estimates. Minimum Requirements 10+ years experience minimum Able to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment. Advanced Proficiency in .NET Framework 3.5 and above, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, RESTful Architecture. Proficiency in client server models and object-oriented programming. Possess a passion evangelizing quality-centric best practices; tempered with an understanding of modern agile and DevOps practices. Experience working with third party APIs to deliver automated solutions. Self-motivated learner who has an aptitude for solving problems, troubleshooting issues, and sharing learning outcomes. Work and collaborate with in Eastern time zone (EST) Experience managing code with Git and actively engages in pull requests. Conceptual and practical familiarity with CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps. Familiarity with containers and how tooling can be virtualized/scaled appropriately. Possess Strong verbal and communication skills.
