| From: Gulshan, Stellent IT [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] EDI Analyst Minneapolis Minnesota-Hybrid Phone+Skype 6+Month Job Description n this role you'll be supporting GRACOS Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems and processing. The EDI Analysts will develop, coordinate, implement, and communicate the organizations initiatives for EDI systems which exist in the context of an Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) ERP system. Holding the role as the liaison between business users, the Oracle EBS technical team, and trading partners to deliver cost-effective, high-quality electronic exchange of information. Responsibilities: Coordinate with business application and database administration functions to ensure availability and reliability of EDI systems to meet business demands. Perform system configuration, mapping, and management for EDI-based transactions and processes. Develop, enhance, and maintain EDI maps for both inbound and outbound transactions. Work closely with trading partners to plan, execute, and implement data exchanges to benefit both parties. Troubleshoot and resolve EDI issues. Develop and maintain project and system documentation per standard. Perform typical business analyst duties such as requirements gathering, solution design, development, and testing to meet EDI business needs. Monitor new technologies, techniques, and tools in the EDI space to continue to enhance EDI systems. Assist with development of test plans and execution of those plans in conjunction with internal and external personnel. Develop and conduct end user training for EDI systems. Drive the adoption of standard work processes, standard application functionality and data standards, as well as alignment with global corporate policies and IS methodology. Acquire and improve skills in EDI and Oracle applications through education and professional organizations. Promote teamwork and volunteer to serve on ad hoc task groups from time to time. Consult with IS staff on business and technical issues. Provide guidance and mentorship for employees in the role of EDI Analyst I. Other duties as assigned Essential Requirements: 3 years + years of relevant EDI experience, supporting Oracle E-Business Suite environments Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining EDI systems. Knowledge of EDI standard formats (ANSI X12, EDIFACT, etc.) and EDI translators. Experience using data translation technologies (e.g. Gentran).
