JOB DESCRIPTION: JOB TITLE= .NET Developer (FULL TIME JOB) LOCATION: Norfolk or Hampton Roads Virginia- HYBRID(Need Local candidates only) WORK VISA= USC ONLY Client- DOD The .NET Developer / Software Engineer will be on-site in our Norfolk/Hampton Roads Virginia location. (Some Hybrid options after a successful first 180 days on-site). Must have relevant experience with dot NET, C#, MS SQL Server, Java Script with a demonstrated ability to understand and participate in the full lifecycle of code development. Primary responsibilities include upgrading business functionality, participating in code review for business improvements, and maintaining functionality in our supported business functions. MUST BE A CURRENT U.S. CITIZEN. Non-citizens will not be considered. The Software Development Team puts a high priority on teamwork, collaboration, and the willingness to step up and handle multiple facets of the work driven by business needs. The team actively coordinates with the rest of the internal IT team, consisting of about 25 Associates, so internal communication is key. Previous experience with multiple business functions is a plus and we encourage cross-training on our teams. We prefer at least 5 years in a similar role, but flexible based on skills, potentially as little as 3 years of directly relevant experience. Relocation will be paid for the successful candidate. This position does not support fully remote work. While some Hybrid flexibility is an option (based on business needs) after a successful first 180 days on-site, the Candidate must live or relocate to within commuting distance. MUST BE A CURRENT U.S. CITIZEN. Drug screen required. We are a U.S. Defense Contractor and although no active security clearance or military experience is required, we view it as a plus. Requirements, Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities At least 3-5 years of Dot NET, C#, MS SQL, Java-Script, etc... Full Stack knowledge of the complete software development life cycle and ability to multi-task / shift gears to support business needs.
