Control cloud infrastructure costs by optimizing resource allocation. Monitor and report on cost trends and identify cost-saving opportunities. Identify and decommission unused or underutilized cloud resources. Rightsized instances and storage to reduce costs. Implement and maintain security best practices for cloud services. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Implement backup and disaster recovery strategies to protect data and ensure business continuity. Regularly test and validate disaster recovery plans. Plan and forecast resource capacity to meet current and future demands. Avoid capacity bottlenecks and resource shortages. Automate routine tasks and workflows to improve operational efficiency. Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) and orchestration for provisioning and scaling comprehensive monitoring systems to detect and respond to anomalies and performance issues. Defining thresholds and response procedures Keep cloud resources up to date by applying patches and security updates. Regularly scan for vulnerabilities and remediate security issues. Maintain up-to-date documentation for configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides. Share knowledge within the team to improve operational efficiency.
