Role: Postgres SQ Developer with DB Migration PL/SQL Location: Renton, WA Duration: Long Term Contract Responsibilities: DB Migration Engineer with PL/SQL Knowledge Hands-on experience in PostgreSQL SQL/PLSQL development in version 10 and above. Good knowledge on PostgreSQL keywords comparing with another database engines like SQL Server Or Oracle. Good Knowledge/Understanding of MS SQL server objects and its keywords. Hands-on experience developing in PostgreSQL objects such as Functions, Stored Procedure, Tables, Views, Sequences, Index, Constraints, Users, etc. Good knowledge on PostgreSQL data types and advanced concepts of PostgreSQL. Knowledge or Experience in AWS Cloud Knowledge or Experience in AWS SCT (Schema Conversion Tool). Knowledge or Experience in AWS DMS. Knowledge or Experience in AWS RDS. Knowledge in PostgreSQL administration and Plugins knowledge. Knowledge converting MSSQL server objects to PostgreSQL such as converting Table data types, SP conversions, etc. Roles & Responsibilities Lead & perform the data migration work for modernization projects into AWS cloud (Sources: Oracle or SQL and Target: Oracle, SQL or Postgres) Work with the application teams on the data migration / DB migration from on premises environment to AWS cloud Coordinate with on premise enterprise DBA teams on data migration strategies and activities Coordination with DBA and application teams Self-driven and motivated person Interact with team members in multiple locations.
