| From: vivek, vyzeinc [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Description - J ob Title - Network Engineer Job Location - Fort Belvoir ( VA ) Onsite Duration - 12 Months About the job Our client, a large government integrator located in Halawa, HI, Tampa, FL and Fort Belvoir, VA is looking to hire a TS/SCI Network Engineer for a 12 month contract. The Network Engineer will work onsite out of either location in support of a the network of a cutting-edge program supporting DoD intelligence information sharing on current and emerging global threats to mission and coalition partners and emerging nations. This team is in direct support of the war fighter and their missions. The consultant will be responsible for maintaining networks to meet Enterprise Service Availability and Service Level Agreement requirements. The consultant will provide training to end-users and less-experienced network personnel. The consultant will also identify, analyze and resolve any network incidents or problems. The consultant will determine network specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility. The consultant will assist with the development of third-party monitoring actions and procedures for network infrastructure. Required Skills: 2+ years network engineering experience Must have an active TS/SCI clearance Must possess a completed CCNA certification Knowledge and experience with routing and switching protocols (e.g. OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, Spanning Tree Protocol, ISAKMP, ESP, SIP, SCCP, etc.) Knowledge and experience with data center networking Experience troubleshooting ACLs, firewalls, and firewall rule sets Ability to analyze, administer and maintain voice, video, and/or data communications networks. Ability to manage the usage and performance of voice, video and/or data communications networks Utilizes IT Service Management (ITSM) principles to identify, categorize, prioritize, escalate, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents. Understanding of network virtualization Ability to work onsite out of Halawa, HI, Tampa, FL or Fort Belvoir, VA and willing to travel to different bases nationally as needed Keywords: information technology Florida Virginia |
