The SCCM Engineer is a hybrid opportunity, the ideal candidate will be required to be onsite twice a week, 3 days will be work from home/remote. DAY to DAY RESPONSIBILITIES: Supports and maintains hardware, software, and other components of Windows 10 and Windows 11 images used for PC deployment to end users. Troubleshoots issues related to PC management, deployment, and configuration as a 3rd level resource. Provide IT Operations support for Microsoft SCCM and Microsoft Intune for Device Management. Application packaging through SCCM support Performs setup and management of monthly patching of Windows Desktops, VDI Works ticket queue in Service Now to help troubleshoot/resolve SCCM/Software OS issues escalated by L2 techs. Assists in testing OS updates, language pack distribution, and packages on multiple hardware models and providing feedback/analysis. Applies and tests software patches provided by vendors. Providing recommendations on desktop technologies. Identify and suggest improvements to processes. Provides support for infrastructure framework by responding to escalated issues, troubleshooting errors, and developing technical solutions to ensure implementation of process improvements. Collaborates across teams on detailed technical requirements, implementation approaches and problem solving. Communicates effectively with all stake holders. Builds and maintains positive customer and peer relationships. QUALIFICATIONS: SCCM L2 experience IT experience in large enterprises and/or global teams Infrastructure engineering experience within large organizations and/or global teams 3+ years of Desktop and Laptop infrastructure, imaging, and lifecycle replacement.
