| Hi, Please find job description below; Any Visa (Need the passport copy as well after an offer for verification- Need LinkedIn URL of the candidate) Need Local to Missouri Only Job Title:: Software Engineer (C, C++)/ C/C++ Developer Location:: O'Fallon, Missouri (Day 1 On-Site- Hybrid Module- There is a requirement to be on-site at least 1 Day a week - The Client Will Only Consider Local Candidates of O'Fallon, Missouri) Duration:: 2 Year Contract MOI:: Online Glider Technical Test then Video Interview (Please make sure before submitting any candidate that they need to complete the Online Glider Technical Test Within 24 Hours of test link shared by my Vendor- We have already faced multiple issues where consultant didnt took the test) Additional Notes From Vendors End: If you are submitting any candidate whose project is on-going with our current running Client then that candidate need to provide the current end date of the project and the name of the hiring manager so that we can verify for the same. PLEASE NOTE ALL CANDIDATES FOR MASTERCARD MUST NOW TAKE AN ONLINE GLIDER TECHNICAL TEST! We can only send out a couple of tests maximum for each job as they are very costly and expensive to send out so please only send your best 1 or 2 consultants. We are still looking for the best talent and only candidates with the right tech skills and good company experience on their resume will get sent a test. They must also have good communication skills. If they are not willing to take the test they cannot be submitted. Once a tech test is sent to a candidate they have up to 24 hours to take. If they take too long to take the test they cannot be considered. We are looking for BANKING/FINANCIAL SERVICES INDUSTRY CANDIDATES MasterCard has been rejecting many submits lately for irrelevant industry experience, we will not send anyone without this industry experience. MUST HAVE SOLID COMPANIES STILL (BANKING/FINANCIAL SERVICES) more and more candidates are being rejected at time of review and passed on for candidates with stronger industry experience. Please only send over candidates with banking/financial services industry experience. *Examples of companies MasterCard has placed candidates from- American Express, Visa, Capital One, Discover Financial Services, Bank of NY Mellon (BNY Mellon), TD Bank, etc. (there are plenty of more, these are just examples). It is very disappointing that I need to send this email out, but we have been catching way too many candidates cheating on their Glider tech tests. What we continue to spot (and it is VERY easy to catch) is candidates are using a proxy to help take the test for them. NO MORE CHEATING ! We prefer a candidate to see a candidate who was honest and did their best rather than catch someone cheating. The number 1 giveaway is when code is being written on the screen and there is no sound of their keyboard being typed. This is obviously the proxy taking their test for them. I warn every single candidate not to cheat when I speak with them, but I guess thats not enough, so I am asking for your help. Going forward I expect you to also coach your consultant as well before they take their Glider. From now on if we get 3 cheating candidates from your company we will stop taking new resumes from your company for 1 month. This is getting out of hand. PLEASE tell your consultants to be honest when they take their Gliders and not to use any cheating software. I will keep reminding them as well. Job Description: Location : O'Fallon, Missouri (Main Campus). There is a requirement to be on-site at least 1 day a week. Duration : 24 Months. Glider Tech Required: 500065-4 Software Engineering Lead. This is not a Lead role. Hiring manager wants to fill this QUICKLY and said he can make an offer after 1 round of interview!! Were looking for an experienced software developer. Strong in C language (C and C++) and scripting type environments. This is more on C than C++ but candidate still needs both. Unit testing experience is a must have (the unit testing side is on C++). If someone has Test Driven Development that would be a huge plus, this will be encouraged to be worked on next year. Financial background would be useful but not required , the tech skills are more important. If no financial background, MUST come from a large enterprise company, no small shops. The environment is a highly scaled multi service setup. This is an Agile team, we do 2 week Sprints. They will be working on a team with 4 or 5 other developers . We are enhancing old applications, the code base is up to 20 years old and is actively used.
