Job Title: Linux Admin Location: Santa Clara, CA( Onsite) Duration: 12+ Months Responsible for functions in support of computing hardware for design engineering in Intel datacentres. Experience in Basic Linux commands and troubleshooting skills. Basic knowledge of Linux and understanding of hardware components. Executes and coordinates multi-team install process for computing hardware. Tests and troubleshoots computer hardware/software issues. Executes break-fix and process within specified service level agreements. Installs Linux (Suse) and windows operating systems and troubleshoots basic install issues May perform operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment - Linux based hardware on (HP, Supermicro) Works with asset management and ticketing systems. Client will train the candidate if required on ServiceNow tool. Executes regular equipment audits. Interfaces with and manages working relationships with hardware vendor technicians. May script or program solutions to improve productivity. nice to have.. basic shell scripting, python Adheres to physical and electronic security standards. Work performed within generally defined parameters.
