Management recommends that candidates have at least three (3) years of directly related experience in Windows Server Management three (3) years of directly related experience to Physical Server Management. Management requires candidates with: Strong experience with Microsoft PowerShell tool scripting. Experience with Microsoft Active Directory. Physical server management experience with CISCO UCS Servers Any Enterprise Storage platform experience EMC a plus Cloud services management experience, preferably Azure and AWS. knowledge of common security standards such as PCI, FERPA, and NIST. familiarity with NC Statewide security standards. Windows Server Generalist with Azure- Senior Remote Microsoft Azure certifications are a plus. PRIMARY TASK OBJECTIVES FOR CONTRACTOR (may overlap) 1.) Azure Vulnerability Alert assistance - Team receives vulnerability mitigation tasks related to our Azure environment from our Information Security Office referencing potential vulnerabilities. This position will work with the DCS Supervisor & MS Architect to review and address these regular bulletins from various avenues referencing new security vulnerability alerts. These alerts will be directed to this position, and they will work with the DCS Security Engineer to research them to: 1.) Determine if issued alerts are applicable to our environment. 2.) Determine if we already have protections in place. 3.) Determine impact of reported vulnerability. 4.) Notify appropriate DCS Engineer in case they arent already aware. 2.) Access Request Assistance - Team receives a large amount of access requests to various resources. This position will assist with fulfilling these requests as quickly as possible when able. If not, they will route requests to appropriate DCS engineer for fulfillment and notify them. 3.) Other tasks assigned to assist with the management of the Windows Server Virtual Environment.
