Please find the below job description and if you are interested, please forward your resume to [email protected] Role: Business Analyst with HR Analytics Location: Irvine, CA (Hybrid) Duration: 6 Months (Possible of extension) Description: Background: Data Privacy is a high priority for Capital. As a firm, our objective is to extend our industry leadership to privacy as a trusted custodian of personal information. In HR, we manage some of the most sensitive data in the company, our associate and candidate data. Accordingly, we are laser-focused on improving our practices to ensure we reduce this risk to the organization and for our associates and candidates. Our efforts will help protect CG, as well as avoid potential costly ramifications and damage to our reputation while doing the right thing for our associates and candidates. Resource Needs: The HR Data & Technology team has a backlog of work related to regulatory compliance with global data privacy regulations, analysis & remediation of HR process gaps re: privacy and supporting enterprise efforts with privacy by design consultation on various initiatives. One primary area of focus has been on implementing data retention/purging schedules across our landscape of HRIS systems, starting with our core and largest system Workday. To complete this work, the team is looking for resources with the following skills and experiences to augment the team in the capacity of Business Analysis/Consulting. Organization (tasks = coordinating testing with business & HRIS resources, status reporting, project mgmt.) Action Orientation (tasks = requirements definition, documentation, analysis of systems receiving sensitive data, prioritization) Learning Agility Connecting dots with Privacy by Design principles Business Analysis (Interprets results using a variety of techniques, ranging from simple data aggregation via statistical analysis to complex data mining). Ability to work directly with project and business leaders to identify analytical requirements MS Excel (E.g., VLOOKUP to compare datasets) Data Privacy/GDPR experience and/or Workday experience ideal Limited or no HR experience necessary Workday Data Purge experience ideal Requires 4-6 years of experience.
