Job Type: Long term Contract Job Description: Skillset needed is to support cloud PostgreSQL database for development and customer environment. Experience in database performance tuning, optimization, and monitoring. This is an onshore position either Omaha or Louisville, the team this position supports is in both locations. Database support will be in azure cloud and google cloud specific to PostgreSQL. Oracle knowledge not required but will be considered since this product is moving from oracle to PostgreSQL for some customers. Overview: As a Cloud PostgreSQL DBA, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and maintaining PostgreSQL databases in both Azure and Google Cloud environments. Your responsibilities will involve providing seamless database support for development and customer environments, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security. Experience with Oracle databases, while not mandatory, would be advantageous due to ongoing migrations from Oracle to PostgreSQL for select clients.
