Reports to: Senior Director, Products.

POSITION:

As a User Experience (UX) Designer, you will be working in a team of professionals with a passion for systems
thinking, and

iteratively transforming our products into modern user experiences. We believe that designers have a significant
voice at the

table in defining any successful digital initiative. As a team member, you will be collaborating with multiple
UX designers, domain

subject matter experts, project management, and engineering to develop original UX concepts, and guide projects
from concept

to launch.

PURPOSE:

To design, build and maintain software solutions with a commitment to delivering quality solutions on time that
meet or exceed

the needs of our internal and external customers.

PERFORMANCE OUTCOMES ALIGNED WITH POSITION CORE FUNCTIONS:

Problem-solving in an ambiguous environment

1. Requirements, customer needs, and technical feasibility may not be defined; you are comfortable in a start-up

environment.

2. Participate in strategy and roadmap conversations in close collaboration with product and engineering partners
to

evolve and mature our design system, our UX function, and meet our business goals.

Define scope and influence cross-functionally.

1. Partner with cross-functional team members in the conceptualization and delivery of our internal and external

solutions.

2. Participate in PI Planning; help SCRUM teams plan capacity for UX enablers and research activities.

3. Collaboratively curate, conduct, and analyze user research to iteratively inform design decisions.

4. Prioritize design tasks and the creation of design artifacts.

Execution of strategic initiatives

1. Create high-quality interaction design to improve ease of use, discoverability, and comprehension, while being
able to

meet requirements, timelines, and tell the story of the work.

2. Leverage and contribute to our established design system, style guide, patterns, and assets in the creation
of UX

analysis, solutions, and deliverables.

3. Work directly with the engineering teams to align with platform best practices and implementation details.

User advocacy and mindset

1. Actively contribute to the wider UX community within our org, possibly mentoring and developing others, leveraging

your strengths to help others unfamiliar with UX grow.

 2. Ability to communicate designs and strategy persuasively
& concisely to all functions and levels, including executives.

3. Design for specific outcomes such as Activation, Retention, Wayfinding and Error-Handling, or Prevention of Churn.

4. Help define and embed benefit hypotheses into features with product owners.

Meticulous and considerate

1. You are cognizant of details and can create and repeat design patterns to express our design language in various

products and services.

2. Comfortable giving and receiving critique in design reviews.

3. Strategically consider design decisions that will optimize multiple products and services in a retail ecosystem.

Communicative and supportive of stakeholders

1. Take initiative to schedule and update stakeholders of design progress and expectations.

2. Proactively suggest improvements to our design process.

3. Work with product owners to conceptualize and refine solution designs with a shared vision.

4. Track progress and research in the UX team's work management tool.

REQURIED TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS:

A successful candidate will have at least 5+ years of experience as a product designer or similar background within

user experience, design, research, or a related field.

Comfortable collaborating with multiple UX designers simultaneously.

Thought leadership with strong knowledge of UX processes, tools, storytelling, and best practices to apply to

various kinds of products.

Skilled in crafting end to end customer experiences by collaborating with and influencing partner teams to enable good

user experiences holistically.

Comfortable wireframing or diagramming your ideas to create a shared understanding with the UX team and

product management.

You are comfortable using both formal and informal methods to gather and give feedback.

Familiarity and experience with standard design and prototyping tools, such as Adobe XD, Figma, and Miro is

required.

Knowledgeable in desktop web, mobile web design is required.

A curious mind with love for finding problems, for experimenting with solutions, and for learning.

Familiarity with complex systems and IoT devices is a plus.

Familiarity with Monday.com is a plus.

Familiar with Scaled Agile practices is preferred.

Experience leveraging qualitative and quantitative data to drive design decisions is preferred.
