Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications (e.g., Nokia Service Routing Certification, CCNA, CCNP) are highly desirable. 5+ years or more proven experience designing, configuring, and managing large-scale IP networks. Dedicated work area and a reliable internet connection. In-depth knowledge of IP routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, ISIS), EVPN, MPLS, QoS, IPv6, VLAN, VPN technologies, IPAM, DHCP, DNS, and network security principles. Knowledge of Passive Optical Network (PON) network architecture preferred. Hands-on experience with Nokia Service Router platform preferred. Linux CLI proficiency. Network monitoring and troubleshooting tools proficiency. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve network issues efficiently. Excellent communication skills. Willingness and availability to respond to after-hour escalation related to outages or events impacting the network. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Self-motivated with a continuous learning mindset to stay updated with evolving technologies and industry trends.
