PLCs, SQL querrying Description : Work as part of a business system support team responsible for base support and enhancements for one or more complex business system application. Activities include all aspects of support from fixing bugs to ensuring timely production runs; helping users to understand and use the system; recommending, developing and implementing application enhancements; management of the application system environment. Works with general direction from a Senior Analyst or Group Leader. Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Required : Must work with Production to bring in well site data, salt water disposals, compressor site data, and any field automation into our Ignition and Wonderware SCADA systems for alarm historization/trending, and display Must work well with field I&E employees and also with Houston development support. Knowledge of SCADA and Automation controls Background in working with PLCs and related HMI hardware and their related software (Allen-Bradley, Modicon, GE) Working knowledge of Inductive Automation/Ignition product and/or Wonderwares software suite (IAS, InTouch, InSQL), AutoSol, ACP ThinManager is beneficial. IT knowledge of Microsofts server operating systems and applications such as MS SQL 2012 or later is beneficial Effective written and oral skills Strong leadership, project management, customer-service orientation, and good interpersonal skills Experience in oil and gas field operations Knowledge of field data capture and production accounting systems is beneficial Duties & Responsibilities: Responsible for the day to day support, maintenance, and commissioning of SCADA systems utilizing corporate-driven standard solutions. Responsibilities will also include support of facilities and the process controls within these sites as applicable. Interface with various customer and support elements including automation, measurement, engineering, production, operations, and other IT support staff. Assist teams in troubleshooting communications and network issues as applicable. Work schedule will be 5 days per week, 40 hours, plus on call rotation will additional hours as needed.
