Roles & Responsibilities: 1) Responsible for the management of the interoperability between Cisco and Juniper Layer 3 Platform, through the use of alarm and ticket systems, individual designed customized scripts, customer notification, and Business Partner escalations. 2) Responsible for deploying new routers, switches, and trunk capacity as well as configuring them. 3) Responsibilities include providing real time in-depth analysis and real time trouble resolution of incidents associated with the CISCO, Juniper, and associated Operations Support Systems, and Data Communications Network Technology platforms. Work Hours: This is Shift work. Limited OT. The consultant will work an 8 hr shift anywhere between M-F 5x24. (Day, Swing or Mids positions). *** Job description: There will be two different jobs, same skill sets supporting the Core Migration program. One job is LifeCycle and the other is Executor of the migration changes. LifeCycle Change Management Will be responsible for scheduling / coordinating all Core Migrations. Will work closely with business partners in a DevOps methodology partnering with Labs, product development, and engineering teams to create process documentation, methods, procedures, and guidelines for current network planning, capacity management and use/test cases during new technology instantiation. Participates in collaboration sessions with vendors on product capabilities and improvements. Reviews and interprets technical documentation and vendor specs for inclusion/adaptation into database templates. This will be a daytime or evening / Swing shift position. TOP 5 SKILLS: 1.
