| Senior UI Developer with React Hybrid in NYC, NY (Must be local to NY) 1 Year USC and GC Financial Domain Must Job Description: As a Senior UI Developer and System Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and architecting responsive and interactive user interfaces using ReactJS, React Native, React Core, NextJS, and GCP. This role involves leadership, mentoring, and close collaboration with onshore and offshore UI development teams. You will work alongside Architects, System Engineers, and senior developers to integrate frontend components with backend services on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ensuring optimization for performance and scalability. Additionally, you will be responsible for continuous improvement of code quality and development processes and staying updated with industry trends and best practices. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and architect responsive and interactive user interfaces using ReactJS, React Native, React Core, NextJS, and GCP. Collaborate with product managers and design teams to create visually stunning and user-friendly applications. Lead and mentor multiple teams of UI developers, both onshore and offshore, providing guidance and support to ensure best practices and high-quality code. Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability. Identify and address technical debt, continuously improving code quality and development processes. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices, incorporating them into our development processes. Participate in solution calls with key Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), including Product Managers, Architects, System and Functional Engineers, to understand requirements from functional and technical perspectives. Proactively review the domain's functional and technical architecture and workflow. Raise questions to key SMEs to ensure that engineering teams understand the requirements and the design. Present in the Architecture Forum, contributing to overall and feature-level architectural discussions with the UI technical design. Drive the delivery of comprehensive Confluence documentation, including component and sequence diagrams. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a Senior UI Developer and System Engineer with a strong portfolio showcasing your work in ReactJS, React Native, React Core, NextJS, and GCP. Expertise in designing and implementing UI architecture and best practices. Proficiency in JavaScript, ES6/ES7, HTML5, and CSS3. Experience with RESTful API integration. Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform services, including but not limited to GCE, GKE, Firestore, and Cloud Functions. Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail. Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
