Title : QA Engineer Location : Florham Park NJ office with 3 days in the office and 2 wfh candidate must already be in the area, no relocation Duration : 6 months , This role could be converted to FTE Visa : must be GC Holder or USC. Job Description Here are the specs: Knowledge base: Retirement Services experience (prefer), financial advisor industry is a plus Understand complex business requirements related to retirement services and break them down into testable components. Deep understanding of SDLC, especially Agile methodologies. Technology Skills: ASP.NET/.NET/C# - Some understanding in Microsoft based product and technologies. MS SQL Server (able to understand the SQL query) - able to write complex SQL queries, understand stored procedures, and ensure data consistency. DB2 (prefer) LoadRunner (automation testing) (how much knowledge the candidate know) Postman Selenium Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium. Cucumber SoapUI QA concept: (how much knowledge the candidate know) Design and develop detailed test plans, ensuring full coverage of requirements. Execute manual and automated tests, identifying and documenting defects. Able to work independently Blackbox testing Able to understand the process flows and define testing steps Regularly report on testing progress, issues, and quality metrics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Open communication Use JIRA or other defect tracking tools to report issues and monitor their resolution. Documentation and Reporting Organize and document detail scenarios (by Excel or other equivalent) Ensures that every aspect of a product or service is tested thoroughly.
