From: Navnish Kumar, Stellent It [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Role-Linux & Control-M Administrator Location: Washington, District of Columbia (Local Remote) Interview: Phone + Skype Mode Contract (C2C and W2) Visa USC/GC Job Description : Create and manage user accounts, customize each instance to the user, password reset, adjust access as needed, assist users with installation (onsite and remote), testing, and troubleshooting all issues. Work quarterly with the Linux administrators during Control-M updates and patches, verifying and QCing Control-M functionality after patches are applied and servers rebooted. Creating custom reports and dashboards for users and managers. This includes analyzing relevant report data. Provide coverage for the Control-M administrator when they are not available. Ensure proper operation of the systems, processes, programs, security, and equipment availability and stability while assisting internal and external users with reports and service issues. Configure and monitor DASD and virtualization systems. Develop and document viable processing techniques to solve problems and create standardization. Monitor reports created to consolidate and improve presentation and content. Reports include but are not limited to Login, Access, diagnostics, group mailbox, Enterprise Manager, and community discussions. Create, maintain, define, and document user groups. Develop, review, update, and maintain new and existing programs, scripts, utilities, and automated reports. Daily review of software installations through audits. Analyze issues and troubleshoot to correct any issues and problems. Continued research on Control-M-related material to keep current with relevant upgrades, administration, management, and usage. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree in computer science or related field and eight (8) plus years of experience in this related field or masters degree with six (6) plus years of experience Current experience with Scripting languages such as SHELL, Practical Extraction and Report Language (PERL), Structured Query Language (SQL), and JavaScript Familiarity with RedHat Linux Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance. Desired Qualifications: Current/Active Public Trust Clearance or higher Development experience, such as ASP.NET, CSS, HTML, Java, Python, JavaScript, DHTML, and Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) Experience with Windows Servers Keywords: information technology green card wtwo |
