| Business Systems Analyst 3 Service Location- Redmond, WA 100% Remote 6 months contract No H1B/OPT Job Description: Microsoft Cloud Security Benchmark team (MCSB) is looking for a system analyst/program manager role who will be able to develop & maintain cloud security best benchmark and identify security configuration baseline settings for Azure, AWS and GCP cloud services. You will have the opportunity to work with product managers, engineers, solutions architect, auditors from both internal and external customers. Responsibility: - Contribute to expanding scope and coverage for the Microsoft Cloud Security Benchmark (including control definition and security baseline settings) and related cloud product benchmarks. - Work with Microsoft product teams (such as Azure Security, Compute, Analytics, Databases products) to define the security baselines for the respective services. - Partner with product management and engineering teams such as Microsoft Defender for Cloud team to implement and enhance the user experience of MCSB. - Ensure the ongoing documentation of the security baseline lifecycle and change management processes for MCSB. - Support internal and external customers to help them understand, implement, and use the MCSB and respond to feedback. - To be successful in this role, you must have knowledge of strong skills in written and verbal communications, a can-do attitude and the willingness to tackle hard problems in innovative ways. You must also thrive in a team environment that values cross team collaboration and building on the success of others. " Years of Experience Required 5+ Degrees or certifications required none. Best vs. Average Prior Microsoft experience preferred but not required Required Qualification 3+ years of experience working on public cloud (such as Azure, AWS and/or GCP) products/services. 2+ year of experience working in the security domains ideally with experience as a security advisory/consulting role in public or private sectors. Preferred Qualification 3+ years hands on experience defining security configuration baselines and writing risk assessments. Working knowledge of public cloud products (such as Azure, AWS or GCP). Good technical writing and verbal communication skills . Knowledge of industry standards and compliance frameworks, such as NIST SP800, CIS, PCI-DSS related to security benchmark and baseline. Knowledge of Windows System and Linux security configurations. Experience in security operations (such as monitoring, incident response, DevSecOps) is a big plus. Professional cloud security certification, such as Azure Security Engineer, AWS Security - Specialty is a big plus Education background in related disciplines such as Computer Science or relevant disciplines. Ability to work in a team environment that promotes collaboration.
